Gay marriage will once again play a role in the upcoming elections in the united states, where anti-gay-marriage-measures will be put to the vote in many states. The opposition to these campaigns is headed by David Mixner (60), once named by news-week as ‘the most powerful gay man in america.’A couple of years ago, President George W. Bush submitted a proposal to amend the United States Constitution. Local authorities in a number of states permitted same-sex marriage, which caused quite an uproar. With his amendment, Bush wanted to legally define marriage as a union between a man and a woman and nothing else...
